Marzipan (Home Made)

Much cheaper alternative than the Shop bought one, and taste amazing as well.
Originates from Germany, but sold worldwide now.
Base of many cake decorations, also can be shaped for favourite figures children’s birthday party cakes.
Ingredients:
(for aprox. 430g Marzipan roll)
200g very finely ground blanched almond meal/flour - fresh made best, but can use shop bought :))
200g Icing Sugar
2 teaspoon pure good quality Almond Extract
(1 teaspoon Rose Water - optional)
1 Egg white / or 3 tablespoon of water
Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend till smooth consistency. It does not take long, maybe a minute.
Your Marzipan paste is ready!
Store it in the fridge wrapped in glad wrap. (this has no preservatives like the once from the shops)
Paste can be thickened with extra icing sugar if needed when used for decorations.
